Job Summary

This strategic leadership role involves taking overall responsibility for the Drug Substance 3 department within the Life Sciences Process Engineering division. The Senior Manager will provide technical and disciplinary leadership to multiple group leaders and project teams, driving the strategic advancement of the department in close coordination with executive management. A core focus is ensuring technical excellence, strict adherence to regulatory requirements such as GMP and GAMP, and managing resource capacity across national and international large-scale projects. The ideal candidate possesses a completed university degree in Process or Chemical Engineering and extensive professional experience in planning and executing process engineering facilities, preferably within a regulated Pharma/Biotech environment. Success in this position requires proven leadership skills, strong strategic and analytical capabilities, and fluency in both German and English, enabling effective collaboration, customer relationship building, and active participation in new project acquisition.
