Job Summary

This Senior Full Stack Engineer role within the Lounge by Zalando Demand Tech team focuses on creating innovative services to communicate compelling offers to millions of users daily. The core responsibility involves architecting and developing a robust, scalable Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) service primarily using Kotlin. This BFF will power the automation and composition of personalized, dynamic landing pages, seamlessly integrating with the React-based frontend. Day-to-day activities include collaborating closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and UI/UX designers to deliver end-to-end solutions. The engineer will lead the implementation of data-driven marketing automation features, focusing on personalization, targeted user experiences, and A/B testing.
