Job Summary

This role is for a proactive Development Engineer specializing in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Test Systems, focusing on advanced technology, likely within the aerospace or defense sector given the mention of missile subsystems. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of these critical test systems, including setup, maintenance, and operation. A core function involves implementing hardware/software test concepts, integrating new flight vehicle subsystems into the testing environment, and independently executing comprehensive test campaigns. Day-to-day tasks include rigorous analysis and tracking of system failures, developing conceptual solutions in coordination with development departments, and ensuring the continuous operational readiness of the facilities through calibration and repair. The role requires significant scripting work for analysis, evaluation, and automation. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical qualification, coupled with several years of experience in the integration and testing of complex systems, specifically demonstrating proficiency in LabView and Python.
