Job Summary

This permanent position as an IT Administrator in Bonn involves the operations management and administration of critical web-based specialized applications for the Federal Agency for Agriculture and Food (BLE). Key responsibilities include the end-to-end integration and setup of new IT procedures, covering conception, planning, installation, configuration, and quality assurance. A significant part of the role involves automating IT workflows, specifically utilizing configuration management tools like Ansible. You will also monitor application servers, perform error analysis, and provide essential 2nd Level support to professional users. Candidates must possess a University of Applied Sciences degree in Computer Science or a comparable field, or alternatively, demonstrate at least eight years of relevant professional experience. Ideal candidates will also have knowledge of IT security standards, including ISO 27001 and BSI IT Baseline Protection.
