IT Security Officer | IT-Sicherheitsbeauftragter (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves taking full responsibility for all IT security topics at the Brokdorf site of a German federal company focused on the safe interim storage of radioactive waste. The IT Security Officer will support the approval and control of necessary IT security measures and the acceptance of new IT systems. A core part of the job is collaborating with IT Security Officers at other locations and central contacts to establish company-wide standards and uniform IT security specifications for operational IT. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science or Engineering, possesses relevant experience in securing IT systems, and has broad IT knowledge. Knowledge of nuclear technology and relevant IT security frameworks like ISO 27001 and BSI IT-Grundschutz is desirable, coupled with strong analytical skills.
