Job Summary

This role involves leading and managing personnel (currently six employees) within the Climate and Ventilation Technology work area for the Federal Real Estate Agency (BImA) in Wiesbaden. The primary focus is ensuring the smooth, safe, and legally compliant operation of refrigeration, climate, and ventilation systems, often in complex federal buildings. Day-to-day tasks include technical leadership, setting work objectives, planning maintenance and repair activities, coordinating internal staff and external contractors, managing fault resolution, and overseeing procurement processes like obtaining quotes and verifying contractor performance. The ideal candidate must possess a Master Craftsman or Technician qualification in HVAC or Electrical Engineering, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and be prepared for on-call duties, contributing to the management of a vast and varied federal real estate portfolio.
