Job Summary

This leadership role involves managing and developing the Structural Engineering department in the Cottbus branch office, taking full responsibility for personnel, resources, and goal setting. The successful candidate will oversee complex civil engineering projects, including new construction, modification, and maintenance, from preparation and tendering through to construction execution. Key responsibilities include ensuring quality, adherence to schedules and budgets, compliance with legal and technical regulations, and implementing health and safety standards. The role requires extensive experience in structural engineering, construction, and procurement law (VOB, HOAI, VgV), coupled with strong leadership skills to motivate teams, delegate effectively, and manage stakeholder relationships, including coordination with authorities and external partners. This position is ideal for a proactive, decisive leader with a Master's degree in Civil Engineering and proven experience in steering major construction projects.
