Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Chemical Engineer to manage and execute projects involving chemical and process engineering production plants. Key responsibilities include comprehensive plant planning, design, and layout development, covering concept, Basic Engineering, and Detail Engineering phases. The engineer will be responsible for creating mass and energy balances, sizing apparatuses and machinery, and generating essential documentation like process descriptions and P&ID schematics. Furthermore, the role involves supporting plant commissioning, optimizing technical processes, contributing to safety concept development, and assisting the sales team with technical feasibility studies. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Chemical Engineering or related fields, possesses relevant professional experience in chemical plant construction project handling, and demonstrates strong communication, self-reliance, and a willingness to travel for projects. This is a full-time, permanent position offering the opportunity to transition to direct placement with a reputable client company.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Technology, or comparable field

Experience

  • Professional experience in process engineering project handling, ideally within chemical plant construction.
  • Experience in planning and designing process engineering and chemical production plants.
  • Experience in creating mass and energy balances and prozesstechnical sizing of equipment.
  • Experience supporting commissioning and technical optimization efforts.
  • Experience in developing project-related cost estimates and plant layouts.
