Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced AI Application Developer to join Schmitt Engineering in Erfurt, a trusted partner providing comprehensive technical expertise to the industry. The core focus involves the end-to-end development, programming, and testing of specialized software applications, with a strong emphasis on Artificial Intelligence solutions. Key responsibilities include collaborating with various technical departments, assessing the feasibility of new AI ideas, and crucially, educating existing staff on identifying and utilizing beneficial AI use cases and maintaining existing software solutions. Candidates must possess a completed degree in Computer Science or Media Informatics and fundamental experience in Machine Learning, Neural Networks, and Deep Learning contexts. Success in this position requires professional experience in the field, proven ability to conduct technical training, and fluency in both German and English.
