Job Summary

This role involves working as a CI/CD Engineer for Airbus Defence and Space, focusing on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust Git-based CI/CD pipelines, primarily utilizing Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Nexus for C++ applications. Key responsibilities include migrating existing Subversion jobs to modern Git workflows, developing variant-based build pipelines to support diverse target platforms and configurations, and automating various testing types—including Unit, Integration, System, and Regression tests—within the CI/CD framework. The engineer will also manage and enhance container-based build environments using Docker, optimize build times and stability through continuous analysis, and actively participate in root-cause analysis for integration issues. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, strong expertise in CI/CD principles, containerization, Python scripting, and fluency in German, coupled with proficient English skills.
