This full-time, permanent role involves the crucial management of the Augsburg County's traffic infrastructure assets. The specialist will oversee systematic value preservation using a lifecycle model, conduct data-driven evaluations for monitoring and control, and manage the administrative and legal aspects of land transactions, including negotiating the purchase and sale of properties. A significant part of the job includes acting as a key internal expert for digitalization, supporting the Civil Engineering department in adopting digital processes, and maintaining Geoinformation Systems (GIS) and associated applications. Responsibilities also include processing applications for land expropriation and managing the road administration's property inventory. Key qualifications include a degree in Geoinformatics, Civil Engineering, or equivalent administrative certification, coupled with knowledge of property law, contract law, and a strong technical understanding of GIS and digital data processing. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Geoinformatics, Geography (with Geoinformatics specialization), or Civil Engineering; alternatively, qualification as a Certified Administrative Specialist (Dipl.-Verwaltungswirt or Verwaltungsfachwirt).

  • Professional experience in operating traffic facilities (roads and structures)
  • Ideally, experience in digital data processing and process management within public administration
