Job Summary

This role involves the strategic development and operational management of the German Weather Service's (DWD) WeatherShop and overall internet presence. The Digital Project Manager will be responsible for the conceptual coordination and advancement of the WeatherShop, ensuring it meets IT, economic, and legal standards while incorporating customer feedback. Key daily tasks include analyzing and optimizing cross-departmental processes, developing and implementing technical solutions with internal and external partners, and managing IT adjustments, including testing, quality assurance, and documentation. Furthermore, the manager will strategically guide the DWD's internet presence, coordinating with internal departments and external partners, and providing support to editorial teams. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field with a focus on web technology, possesses strong project management skills, and is fluent in German and proficient in English.
