Job Summary

This role is a dynamic opportunity to join the Airbus Defence and Space team as an A400M Systems Engineer, specializing in Mission Planning and Execution. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing technical leadership for system development projects, validating customer requirements, and defining critical system functions and interfaces for integration into aircraft systems. A core function involves creating, executing, and analyzing extensive test procedures, including Flight, Ground, and Laboratory tests, and generating resulting test reports. The engineer will also be responsible for managing problem reports, conducting thorough problem analysis, and coordinating solutions with internal stakeholders, the Flight Test Department, and certification authorities. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, professional experience in system development, and strong knowledge of Systems Engineering, Project Management, and tools like SAP and Matlab. Negotiation-level English and proficient German skills are essential for success in this highly collaborative environment.
