Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Network Technician to join a company supporting the network environments of prominent German automotive and commercial vehicle manufacturers in Nuremberg and Salzgitter. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation and stability of critical network infrastructure. Daily tasks include actively participating in various network projects, responding to and resolving incoming incident reports via a ticketing system, and ensuring the reliable operation of router and switching systems, specifically Cisco hardware. Key responsibilities also encompass the management, monitoring, documentation, and troubleshooting of the network, including the maintenance of copper and fiber-optic access technology. Candidates should possess a completed IT education (e.g., IT Specialist/Fachinformatiker) and professional experience in network administration, ideally with TCP/IP knowledge, and be prepared for flexible, staggered shifts between Monday and Saturday. This is a full-time, permanent position offered initially through temporary employment with the option for permanent takeover.
