Job Summary

This role is ideal for a skilled technician ready to take ownership of complex high-tech systems from final assembly through global deployment. The Commissioning Technician will be responsible for executing commissioning, functional testing, and final acceptance procedures on sophisticated equipment, such as microprocessor-controlled vacuum, metrology, and plasma devices. A core part of the role involves coordinating assembly and testing workflows directly with international clients, ensuring smooth operation, meticulous documentation of all testing and acceptance protocols, and providing essential training to customer personnel for independent system usage. Candidates must possess a strong background in electrical and control technology, including proficiency with PLC and process control systems. Success in this position requires a Certified Technician qualification (or equivalent) and a readiness for significant international travel, dedicating approximately 6 to 12 weeks per year to on-site customer assignments.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or as an Industrial Electrician; Certified Technician qualification is ideal.

Experience

  • Initial professional experience in system commissioning and testing
  • Experience in the high-tech industry is preferred
  • Sound professional knowledge of electrical and control technology

Additional

  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for assembly assignments; approximately 6 to 12 weeks of travel annually, including potentially consecutive deployments.
