This role seeks an experienced Specialist for Online eGovernment Services to drive the digital transformation of core services within the German Pension Insurance. Operating within the "Online Agency," you will function as a Product Owner or Project Management Office (PMO) member, focusing on the end-to-end conception, analysis, and implementation of new digital products, such as the online pension application. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with procedural law, coordinating cross-functional teams, and preparing technical documentation for various stakeholders and committees. Candidates must possess a university degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field (e.g., IT, Administration, Economics) and several years of professional experience in digital transformation, IT, or public administration. A passion for Gov-Tech, user-centric design, and agile methodologies is essential for successfully establishing simple, user-friendly online services for millions of customers.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Bachelor/FH Diploma equivalent) in administrative, economic, or (IT) technical fields, OR Professional qualification as a Certified Specialist (Fachwirt), OR Completed vocational training specializing in Social Insurance, IT, Digital Media Design, or a commercial field

Experience

  • Several years of current professional experience in administration, IT, or digital transformation
  • Experience in public administration (ideally)
  • Initial experience with agile working methodologies
  • Experience as part of an interdisciplinary IT or development team
