Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious Automation Technician to program new control components and optimize existing modules for complex production facilities. Day-to-day responsibilities include adapting PLC programming based on requirements, performing crucial maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery, and independently setting up and commissioning systems on-site. The technician will also be responsible for continuous process optimization and creating detailed technical documentation. Candidates must possess a completed degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology, or an equivalent certified technician qualification. Initial professional experience in automation and control technology, particularly with Simatic Step7 and general PLC programming knowledge, is required. Success in this position demands a structured, reliable, and independent working style, coupled with good proficiency in both written and spoken German and English.
