Job Summary

This part-time (65%), fixed-term Doctoral Researcher position at Philipps-Universität Marburg, within the Institute for Tumor Immunology, offers a unique opportunity to achieve a PhD while contributing to the LOEWE-CARISMa Project. The successful candidate will join a highly motivated team focused on Tumor Biology and the Tumor Microenvironment. Daily tasks involve applying a broad spectrum of modern molecular-biological, biochemical, and cell-biological methods. A core focus will be investigating the immunosuppressive milieu's impact on immunotherapies, specifically analyzing the secretome's role in tumor progression and anti-tumor immune response. Candidates must hold a Master's or equivalent degree in a relevant natural science field and possess solid experience in current experimental research methodologies. The role requires a high degree of self-initiative, team capability, and fluency in English.
