Job Summary

This role seeks a highly responsible Chemical Engineer specializing in rocket propellants to work at the Lampoldshausen facility on a fixed-term contract. The core responsibilities involve comprehensive project supervision, execution, and organization of chemical analyses for spacecraft propellants, including specialized tasks like non-volatile residue (NVR) testing and storage investigations. You will be instrumental in developing new chemical processes for material analysis when necessary, preparing crucial customer documentation (Acceptance Data Packages - ADP), and generating detailed technical reports. A significant aspect of the job involves ensuring laboratory safety and compliance, including reviewing hazard assessments and coordinating waste disposal management with HSE. Furthermore, you will manage the maintenance of essential laboratory equipment and support the Head of Department in drafting project proposals. You are also responsible for the autonomous procurement and professional storage of raw materials and analytical chemicals. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, high resilience, excellent communication abilities, and a proven capacity to integrate effectively within a specialized technical team.
