Job Summary
Join Accelleron, a global technology leader accelerating sustainability in marine and energy industries, as an R&D Designer within the technology department. You will be instrumental in preparing new turbomachinery component designs for prototype testing and eventual production, working closely with development engineers. Day-to-day tasks include creating detailed drawings and documentation according to specifications, participating in design reviews, and integrating feedback from testing and product teams to ensure continuous improvement. A unique aspect of this role is supporting the generation of complex geometry for numerical simulations, contributing directly to cutting-edge component investigation. This role requires a strong background in mechanical design, proficiency in 3D CAD/CAE tools like CATIA V5/V6, and fluency in both German and English, offering the chance to innovate within an exciting international environment focused on driving the energy transition.

Education
Completed apprenticeship in construction/design engineering or equivalent professional qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in mechanical design
- Professional experience in creating precise technical documentation for component implementation
- Experience in the design and layout process of thermal turbomachinery components (highly desirable)
