Job Summary
This analytical internship position within the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) focuses on supporting Switzerland's economic cooperation and development efforts in transition and developing countries, particularly within the Infrastructure Financing sector. The successful candidate will monitor national and regional infrastructure and urban development projects, act as a scientific collaborator in supervising national programs (such as those in the Balkans), and contribute to strategic policy formulation. Key tasks include drafting project proposals, policy opinions, and communication materials related to thematic groups like climate and urban development. This role requires strong analytical, editorial, and negotiation capabilities. It is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate in Economics, International Relations, or Environmental Sciences to gain experience contributing to Switzerland's successful model of economic aid and poverty reduction through infrastructure improvement and financing globally.

University degree, preferably in Economics, International Relations, Environmental Sciences, or a related field (achieved maximum 12 months prior to employment start)
