Job Summary

The Information Security Manager will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and continuously developing the university's Information Security Management System (ISMS), primarily based on BSI IT-Grundschutz and ISO 27001 standards. Key daily tasks include creating security guidelines and procedures, reviewing new software components for compliance, and handling security incidents. The role also involves initiating and controlling security measures across the institution. A critical component of this position is acting as the central point of contact for all information security matters, coordinating efforts with the computing center, data protection officer, and legal department.
