Job Summary

This full-time, two-year fixed-term position involves comprehensive IT system administration across educational institutions, including schools, adult education centers, and music schools within the Burgenland district. The administrator will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of IT infrastructure, encompassing system administration, application maintenance, and user support. Key daily tasks include installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software, managing Windows Servers (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS), administering Linux distributions, and ensuring the security and operational readiness of network technology, firewalls, and anti-virus systems. The ideal candidate must possess a completed vocational qualification in IT System Integration or equivalent, proven professional experience in server and client administration, and the ability to work independently and reliably while adhering to data protection and security regulations. The role requires a high degree of commitment, organizational skills, and the willingness to pursue further professional qualifications.
