Job Summary

This role seeks a highly motivated Biologist, Biochemist, or Biotechnologist to join a successful Contract Research Organization (CRO) in Mannheim, focusing on diverse R&D activities. The specialist will be responsible for providing scientific support for in-vivo and in-vitro contract studies and proprietary R&D projects, particularly within antibody development. Day-to-day tasks include drafting study plans, preparing animal testing applications, assisting with project quotations and billing, and leading projects in compliance with genetic engineering safety regulations (GenTSV). The ideal candidate holds a relevant university degree (B.Sc./M.Sc.) and possesses initial professional experience in contract research and antibody projects. Strong German (C1 minimum) and English language skills, coupled with organizational competence and a customer-oriented approach, are essential for success in this demanding yet rewarding position.
