Job Summary

This position seeks a highly precise Measurement Technician based in Herne, focused on quality assurance for specialized wheelset components in series production. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating complex 3D measurements, performing initial part approvals (Erstteilfreigaben), and preparing and executing First Article Inspections (FAIs). A core function involves operating the Zeiss 3D measuring machine and utilizing precision measuring tools. Candidates must possess formal training as a Machinist, ideally supplemented by a Technician qualification, and demonstrate the critical ability to measure accurately within the micrometer range. Essential technical skills include proficiency with Calypso software and basic knowledge of SAP for handling inventory and production data.
