Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Materials Tester MT Level 1 responsible for the independent execution of mechanical-technological and non-destructive material testing (NDT) procedures in Remscheid. Key daily activities include ensuring strict adherence to all relevant standards and safety guidelines, conducting testing support tasks such as calibrating testing machines and controlling sample dimensions, and meticulously creating and reviewing test protocols. The role requires proficiency in using specialized testing software and the Laboratory Management and Information System (LIMS). Candidates must have completed vocational training as a Materials Tester and possess practical experience with both mechanical and NDT methods. Furthermore, the position involves interaction with customer representatives and inspectors and contributing to the maintenance of laboratory accreditation.
