Job Summary

This full-time role as a Measurement Technician is crucial for quality assurance in serial production, focusing specifically on wheelset components. The core mission involves evaluating 3D measurement data, conducting initial part approvals for serial manufacturing, and meticulously preparing and executing First Article Inspections (FAIs). Day-to-day tasks require proficiency in operating the Zeiss 3D measuring machine and utilizing specialized software, including Calypso, alongside basic SAP knowledge for accessing drawings and production information. Ideal candidates must hold a qualification as a Machining Technician, preferably supplemented by a Technician certification, and possess the critical ability to measure accurately down to the micrometer (µm) level. Experience handling fine measuring tools and familiarity with standard MS Office applications are also essential. This position offers competitive hourly pay and the potential for permanent employment.
