Job Summary

As an Applied Scientist in the Fashion Recommendations Team, you will be instrumental in enhancing Zalando's browsing experience by developing and optimizing recommendation systems that cater to unique customer styles and preferences. You will design and implement advanced ML/AI solutions, including LLM-based recommendations, and build scalable data pipelines and models using technologies like AWS, Python, and TensorFlow. A key part of your role involves defining hypotheses, conducting A/B tests, and deploying solutions to serve over 52 million customers. You will collaborate within a cross-functional team of Applied Scientists, Data Engineers, and Backend Engineers, supported by Product Managers and Designers, to deliver impactful solutions that drive commercial success and continuously innovate in the fashion discovery journey.
