Job Summary
The City of Wolfsburg is seeking an experienced Head of Central Human Resources Management to lead an 11-member team. This role involves strategic leadership, proactive development of HR initiatives, and full personnel and budget responsibility for the department. Day-to-day, you will manage fundamental HR issues, including recruitment, personnel economics, staffing plan development and management, and personnel cost controlling. A key focus will be on driving innovation through product, structure, and process optimization, as well as implementing future-oriented digitalization projects. You will also represent the department in public and various committees, utilizing strong communication skills. Required Skills
Education
University degree with an administrative focus (e.g., General Administration, Administrative Business Administration) qualifying for the first entry-level position of career group 2 in the General Services field, OR comparable qualification as a salaried employee (Angestelltenprüfung II), OR Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management.
