Job Summary
As an EMC Engineer specializing in plant construction, you will be instrumental in ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility of complex systems, particularly within power plant technology. Your daily tasks will involve planning and executing EMC tests in accordance with relevant standards, meticulously analyzing test results to pinpoint potential interferences, and then defining and implementing effective interference suppression measures. You will also be responsible for optimizing existing measurement and testing processes to boost efficiency, conducting laboratory tests, and thoroughly documenting your findings. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with development and production teams to resolve EMC challenges, providing a dynamic environment where you can grow your expertise and contribute to cutting-edge industrial solutions.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Physics, or a comparable field
Experience
- Initial professional experience in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
- Knowledge of laboratory work is advantageous
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to undertake occasional business trips within Germany for laboratory tests (20-30% travel)
