Job Summary
This role is for an ambitious Physics or Chemistry Laboratory Technician who will conduct a variety of physical and optical tests, primarily focusing on defect detection in materials, refractive index distribution, and fiber attenuation. Key responsibilities include operating specialized equipment like profilers, IR/UV measuring devices, and profile projectors, as well as meticulous data acquisition, evaluation, and documentation within SAP. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of physical-technical principles, practical experience in complex testing, and proficiency in MS Office and SAP. This position offers an opportunity to contribute ideas and work in a structured, quality-conscious manner within a collaborative team environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed apprenticeship as a Physics Laboratory Technician, Chemistry Laboratory Technician, or in a comparable scientific-technical profession
Experience
- Professional experience in conducting and documenting complex tests and experimental series
- Practical experience with physical-technical principles
- Experience with MS Office
- Experience with SAP (ideally)
