Job Summary

As an Engineering Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining communication and operations within engineering projects, specifically within the machine and plant construction sector, ideally with experience in marine shipbuilding. Your daily tasks will involve coordinating project-relevant information across engineering, specialized departments, and the broader project team, as well as leading and following up on project meetings. You'll be responsible for reporting on all engineering work packages, supporting interface partners, and actively participating in cross-functional working groups. This role requires a proactive individual who can coordinate deviations, prioritize in case of schedule conflicts, and implement corrective measures. You will also be involved in validating content and calculations for work packages and contributing to process optimization, Lean initiatives, and risk management within the engineering department.
