Job Summary

The Institute for Systemic Inflammation Research (ISEF) at the University Medical Center Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH) is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher in Immunology. This full-time position, available until March 31, 2027, focuses on investigating the biology of the complement system, specifically the roles of C3a and C5a in innate and adaptive inflammatory responses and immunometabolism, particularly in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. The successful candidate will conduct research, apply state-of-the-art molecular, cellular, immunological, and transgenic techniques, and perform experiments using mouse models. This role offers a dynamic and international research environment with opportunities to contribute to internationally visible research in immunology and immunometabolism, utilizing cutting-edge methodologies.
