Job Summary

This role involves developing and testing critical aircraft centralized maintenance and recording systems and software for Eurofighter and future military aircraft programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire software lifecycle, from specification and design to development, testing, qualification, and certification. Key tasks include providing system engineering support for integration into aircraft, as well as supporting build lines, flight tests, maintenance, repair, overhaul, and retrofit programs. Collaboration with internal partners and external national and international customers is also a significant part of the role. This position is ideal for an experienced software engineer with a background in embedded systems and a strong interest in aerospace, offering permanent employment with potential for direct customer takeover at Airbus Defence and Space.
