Job Summary

As a Data & AI Governance Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing unified AI governance policies and standards for BARMER, with a strong focus on responsible risk management across the entire AI lifecycle. You will actively shape the introduction of the EU AI Act, translating regulatory requirements into practical processes and overseeing cross-departmental implementation. A key part of your role will involve building and maintaining an AI registry to ensure transparency of deployed AI systems. You will identify and assess risks associated with AI systems from development to decommissioning, deriving appropriate mitigation measures. This role offers the opportunity to drive the expansion of company-wide data and AI governance, ensuring clear responsibilities and decision-making paths. You will also advise departments on AI risk management methodologies, governance principles, and best practices, contributing to the establishment of data and AI quality management.
