Job Summary

This PhD position at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal focuses on the development and characterization of high-speed, low-noise metal-oxide Thin-Film Transistors (TFTs) for advanced THz detection. The successful candidate will optimize active channels, dielectrics, and contact materials for TFTs, and design, realize, and characterize low-noise amplifier circuits. A key aspect of the role involves integrating these circuits with Graphene MIS diodes to create THz radiation detectors, ranging from single pixels to full arrays, with the ultimate goal of realizing a THz camera. This research is part of a DFG-funded project, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge integrated Terahertz systems.
