Job Summary
Join Herkules, a global leader in large machine tools, as a PLC Programmer in Siegen, Germany. This role involves comprehensive project support from development to commissioning, focusing on creating PLC controls and user interfaces for advanced machine tools. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnostics, and fault resolution, as well as commissioning measuring devices and conducting machine acceptance tests. The position offers a blend of in-house work and international assignments at customer sites, including conducting customer training in both German and English. Required Skills
Education
State-certified Electrical Engineering Technician or comparable electro-technical education/training
Experience
- Professional experience in commissioning and PLC programming
- Knowledge of PLC programming according to IEC 61131-3
- Knowledge of electrical systems
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to travel internationally for project responsibility on construction sites
