Job Summary

This role involves conducting independent GIS-based analyses, including geostatistical, network, interpolation, modeling, multi-criteria, and temporal analyses, as well as change detection. The specialist will contribute to evaluating demographic, socio-structural, socioeconomic, and environmental disparities in transformation regions, and assist with data acquisition, maintenance, documentation, and transfer into databases. A key responsibility is designing and implementing interactive GIS applications for results transfer and contributing to the development of empirical GIS tools and visualization methods. The position also entails reporting and active knowledge transfer through networking with stakeholders from politics, business, civil society, and academia. Required Skills

Education

Completed university of applied sciences or Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Geoinformatics, Geostatistics, Geography, Geodesy, Cartography, or a comparable degree. For civil servants, salary group up to A 11 BBesO with qualification for higher non-technical administrative service.
