Job Summary

The Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences is seeking an IT Service Desk Specialist to join their IT Service Desk and Training team in Wolfsburg. In this role, you will be the central point of contact for all IT service requests, providing crucial support to students and staff. Your daily tasks will involve troubleshooting notebook issues, resolving data network and server disruptions, setting up and maintaining computer workstations, and assisting with virus removal and IT security. You will also handle printer problems, manage Ostfalia-Card issues, and address technical questions related to electronic exam administration and account management. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, a team-oriented approach, and a commitment to continuous learning, offering a diverse and engaging work environment within a large university.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Application Development or System Integration), Technical System IT Specialist, IT System Salesperson, or IT System Electronics Technician, or a comparable completed qualification. Equivalent skills and experience acquired through previous activities may also be considered.
