Job Summary

This Postdoctoral position at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) focuses on cutting-edge research into technetium complexation, crucial for assessing the safety of radioactive waste repositories. The successful candidate will advance spectroelectrochemical methods, synthesize inorganic technetium complexes, and determine their complexation constants. A key aspect involves structurally characterizing these complexes using various spectroscopic techniques like UV-Vis, Raman, and X-ray absorption spectroscopy. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated researcher to contribute to a federally funded project (RULET), present findings at international conferences, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and mentor junior researchers, all within an interdisciplinary and scientifically excellent environment.
