Job Summary
Siemens Healthineers is seeking a passionate Business Developer to drive eHealth solutions, focusing on interoperability, patient portals, and hospital process digitalization across Central Western Europe, with a primary focus on Germany. In this key role, you will strategically expand digital health platforms, combining technological excellence with business acumen to establish innovative healthcare infrastructures. Day-to-day, you'll manage solutions related to interoperability platforms and international standards like FHIR, HL7, IHE, and DICOM, identify new market potential, and serve as a crucial point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical informatics or related fields, extensive experience in business development or consulting within healthcare, and a deep understanding of hospital IT and clinical processes. This position offers a dynamic environment to contribute to the future of healthcare.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Medical Informatics, Computer Science, or Medical Technology
Experience
- Long-term professional experience in Business Development, Business Management, Consulting, or strategic projects at C-level in the healthcare sector
- In-depth experience and knowledge in Affinity Domains, Platform Solutions, and interoperability standards (IHE, FHIR, HL7, DICOM)
- Deep understanding of the responsibilities within hospitals and their IT departments, including clinical processes
- Experience in leading conversations, escalation, conflict management, and negotiation
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to travel approximately 40% within Central Western Europe (Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands). Position can be full-time or part-time (minimum 30 hours/week) at any Siemens Healthineers sales location in Germany (e.g., Berlin, Erlangen, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Munich).
