Job Summary

This role involves the independent configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Cisco network components, primarily switches and routers of the latest generations. The successful candidate will perform software updates and upgrades on Cisco devices, analyze and process PSIRTs (Product Security Incident Response Team alerts), and manage IP-management systems for fault, IPAM, configuration, and performance. A key aspect of the role is the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, along with providing 3rd level support for complex network issues. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to projects focused on enhancing network infrastructure and collaborate with internal departments and external service providers within an energy sector company, initially on a fixed-term contract with potential for extension or permanent placement.
