Job Summary

The Market Lappersdorf, a community of around 14,000 residents, is seeking an engaged IT Administrator to shape and future-proof their IT infrastructure. This full-time, permanent position involves the installation, configuration, and administration of IT and telecommunication systems, including network, server, storage, and end-device management. The role also encompasses planning hardware/software rollouts, network/server administration, data backup solutions, user support, documentation, and license management. The ideal candidate will have a background as an IT Specialist for System Integration or a comparable qualification, possess several years of professional experience in the field, and demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration, IT Systems Electronics Technician, or Computer Scientist; alternatively, a completed degree in Computer Science.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in IT administration, network, server, storage, and end-device management
  • Professional experience in planning and executing hardware and software rollouts
  • Professional experience in network and server administration, including monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Professional experience in setting up and maintaining data backup solutions
  • Professional experience in user support (on-site and remote)
  • Professional experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation
  • Professional experience in license management and software/client installations

Additional

  • Driver's License Class B required. Willingness to work outside regular hours when necessary. For foreign professional qualifications, German language skills at a minimum C1 level are required.
