Data Center Technician | Rechenzentrums-Techniker (m/w/d)

Job Summary
This role involves executing IMAC/R (Install, Move, Add, Change, Remove) tasks within data centers, including the installation, removal, and reconfiguration of hardware in server racks, as well as cabling and de-cabling. The technician will meticulously document all activities in data center applications, manage and prioritize incidents within a ticketing system from analysis to resolution, and communicate with internal and external partners. The position requires participation in a weekly 24/7 on-call rotation and occasional support for changes during evenings or weekends. Additionally, the role includes assisting with goods receipt, warehousing, and performing special assignments, contributing to the smooth operation and maintenance of critical IT infrastructure.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in IT System Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification with relevant experience
Experience
- Professional experience in IT system electronics or electrical engineering
- Proven knowledge in patching network cables
- Experience in installing and removing hardware components in server racks
- Experience working on switch cabinets

Additional
