Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Platform Engineer focused on developing and operating a robust, scalable, and automated infrastructure, specifically managing the Internal Developer Platform (IDP). The core responsibilities include designing, operating, and enhancing the Backstage Developer Portal, creating and maintaining plugins, integrations, and automation to simplify access to CI/CD, Cloud, and monitoring services. The successful candidate will define and automate key engineering processes, establish 'Golden Paths' with reusable templates for microservices and APIs, and implement security/compliance requirements through automated solutions. Key qualifications include expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript, extensive software development experience, mandatory knowledge of IDP, and deep familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and automation (Ansible). The position offers 30 days of vacation, flexible working hours, and the unique benefit of 25 days of 'workation' outside the EU.
