Job Summary

This role is for a Human Resources Management Clerk within the Youth Welfare Office of the state capital Stuttgart, starting January 1, 2026. The position is part-time (60%) and permanent. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling and managing all personnel matters (excluding payroll) for employees and civil servants of the Youth Welfare Office, ensuring compliance with legal requirements regarding external personnel deployment and avoiding tax and social security back payments due to bogus self-employment. Day-to-day tasks include processing inquiries, advising departments, collecting data for legal reviews, supporting legal casework, controlling document filing, processing status procedures, and verifying invoices against contracts. This role is ideal for someone with administrative or commercial training, basic tax law knowledge, and experience in public administration, seeking a secure and valued position with flexible working options.

Required Skills

Education

Three-year vocational training as an Administrative Assistant or another administratively-oriented or commercial three-year vocational training, or a completed first examination according to the remuneration regulations (VKA, formerly Angestelltenlehrgang I).

Experience
