Job Summary

This role involves managing and optimizing software licenses for a leading public pension provider in Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the Software Asset Management (SAM) strategy, conducting internal license audits, and coordinating external reviews to ensure IT compliance. Key duties include analyzing license consumption, identifying cost-saving potentials, and mitigating risks of over or under-licensing. The position also entails continuously monitoring license standards, terms, and market changes, actively contributing to license strategies, and providing company-wide consultation on licensing matters, particularly for new software introductions. The role requires managing and optimizing cloud costs (FinOps) in collaboration with IT departments, controlling, and procurement, and maintaining the license management tool (FlexeraOne).
