Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive case management for individuals with disabilities, focusing on rehabilitation and participation benefits under SGB IX (German Social Code Book IX). The coordinator will assess legal eligibility for integration assistance and long-term care, coordinate with other rehabilitation providers, and make benefit decisions in collaboration with the participation management team. A key aspect is providing advice to individuals with disabilities, considering their abilities and resources, to ensure their self-determined life and equal participation in the community. The position also entails meticulous documentation, official notice creation, and processing benefit payments using the OPEN/PROSOZ IT system. This is a vital role within the City of Stuttgart's Department for Social Affairs and Participation, contributing to the implementation of the Federal Participation Act (BTHG) and fostering an inclusive society.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Public Management or a comparable administrative field, OR a degree as a Certified Administrative Specialist (Diplom-Verwaltungsfachwirt/-in). Also open to graduates (Bachelor, Diplom) in Social Economy/Social Management, Jurists, or Administrative Specialists (Verwaltungsfachwirt/-innen), as well as graduates with a recognized university degree and experience in a social law context.
