Job Summary
This role involves driving the future viability of the automotive industry in the Leipzig region amidst digital and climate-driven transformation. The Project Consultant will develop short- and medium-term strategies, initiate innovation processes, and create action plans for the vehicle industry, considering mobility and energy transitions. Key responsibilities include evaluating location factors, fostering future developments, and developing strategies for employment and skilled labor. The consultant will also manage dialogue and strategy processes, build regional network structures, and plan projects with various stakeholders, including businesses, social partners, and political entities. This position offers a significant opportunity to shape industrial policy and contribute to sustainable regional development.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (Diplom or Master) in Engineering, Social Sciences, or Economics
Experience
- Professional experience in concept development, planning, and moderation of workshops
- Professional experience in applying suitable methods for corporate education
- Extensive industry and expert knowledge in the automotive sector
- Broad knowledge of industrial structures
- Communication and dialogue skills at decision-maker level
- Specific ability to integrate diverse regional actors
- In-depth knowledge of trade union structures and activities, co-determination, and social partnership collaboration
- Ability to systematically grasp complex operational and technological transformation processes and translate them into action-oriented concepts

- Part-time position (36 hours/week), initially limited until December 31, 2025, with an option for extension until December 31, 2026 (subject to positive approval/grant decision). Position located in Leipzig.
