Job Summary

This role involves developing conceptual foundations for the use and technical advancement of construction-related software, specifically for project and cost management in construction projects. The successful candidate will coordinate with stakeholders like budget, controlling, IT security, and data protection to gather technical requirements. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and assisting with IT service procurement, providing second-level support for construction project teams using specialized software (like O-Xilis), and leading information events and meetings for users and multipliers. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex federal construction projects, contributing to high standards of building culture and economic efficiency within a modern and family-friendly public administration.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university of applied sciences or Bachelor's degree in (Construction) Informatics, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification. For civil servants, a salary group up to A 11 BBesO and eligibility for the higher administrative service.

Experience

  • Professional experience in public building administration (desirable)
  • Knowledge of organizational structures in public building administration (desirable)
  • Experience in applying equivalent skills and experience for those without a degree (alternative qualification)

Additional

  • Successful completion of a security clearance up to "Ü 2" according to the Federal Security Clearance Act (SÜG des Bundes) after a successful selection process. For foreign university degrees, proof of recognition by the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB) is required.
